MATTRESS GALLERIES TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Please keep your invoice and warranty information together in a safe place. You will need them if you require warranty service.
MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY: The warranty for any products you purchased is issued by the manufacturer and not Mattress Galleries. We only provide customer service for the manufacturers of the products we currently sell. Manufacturers set parameters of the warranty and the service to which you may be entitled. Please review your manufacturer’s warranty card for specifics regarding your purchase. You must provide the original sales receipt in order for the manufacturers to honor their warranty. In the event that we discontinue a relationship with the manufacturer, and or you move to a different location, your warranty is still in effect. However, you need to contact the manufacturer directly for any warranty service. The manufacturer’s information may be found on the law tag of your mattress or boxspring foundation. Warranty claims may be subject to a $55 fee for a third-party bed inspection, which is non-refundable even if your mattress is found defective under the manufacturer’s warranty.
Please Note: Staining a mattress or boxspring/foundation automatically voids any warranty or comfort exchange.
We recommend that a mattress protector be used on your new bedding to ensure the warranty terms.
MATTRESS PROTECTOR WARRANTY CONCERNS: Please review your manufacturer’s warranty information for proper procedures for placing a claim. You must call the manufacturer’s telephone number for all such warranty claims. Mattress protectors are a non-returnable item.
DELIVERY OF YOUR MATTRESS: If you choose to have your mattress delivered, it will be brought into your home, unpacked and set up in the bedroom of your choice. Mattress removal of your old mattress is also available at no charge. Any additional arrangements are subject to charge by the delivery agent. On the evening before your scheduled delivery, you will be notified of your 4-hour delivery time-window.
ADJUSTABLE BED BASES: If there is a problem with an Adjustable Bed Base, please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty for their customer service number and contact them directly. Mattress Experts does not service customer claims concerning Adjustable Bed Bases. Adjustable Bed Bases are not returnable under Mattress Experts’ comfort guarantee.
SHIPPING/HANDLING FEE: The manufacturers’ warranty covers the merchandise only, and does not include shipping, handling and removal costs. Customers are responsible for shipping of warranty goods.
NON-RETURNABLE/NON-REFUNDABLE: The following items may be cancelled prior to delivery, once shipped they cannot be returned or refunded: Frames (Opened out of the box); Mattresses and boxsprings/foundations (Opened out of original packaging.); Mattress Protectors; Futon Mattresses and Covers; All merchandise sold “as is”; Pillows; Headboards (Opened out of the box); Cots; and Special Orders
CANCELLATION POLICY: Orders can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to shipping. There is a $55.00 cancellation fee after 24 hours. Special orders cannot be cancelled after 72 hours of placing the order. Factory direct orders are considered special orders.
REFUND POLICY: Please be aware that your mattress purchase is non-refundable when shipped and/or delivered. Refunds are not issued from the store. They are expedited through our home office. If your payment was made by check, your refund may take up to 30 business days to process. No refund will be issued without original sales receipt.
MATTRESS GALLERIES’ COMFORT GUARANTEE: Our comfort guarantee applies to mattresses retailing for $999 and above. You must sleep on the mattress for 14 days, which will allow you to adjust to your new mattress. If, after 14 days, you still are not comfortable with your new mattress, just give us a call and we will allow for a one-time comfort exchange for a mattress of equal or greater value. You must be available to schedule the exchange and take delivery within 14 days. A comfort exchange is not valid after 28 days. You will be responsible for the difference in price, plus a fee of $99 plus the redelivery charge. Please note: Our Comfort Exchange Policy is only available in the following areas: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York metro, Long Island, Eastern Pennsylvania, Western Connecticut, Washington, D.C., and northern Virginia. Our comfort guarantee is not available for nationwide deliveries.
MATTRESS HEIGHT CONCERNS: If you find your new mattress set is too high, we will exchange the boxspring/foundation for a low profile boxspring/foundation or vice versa. The low profile boxspring lowers the mattress height approximately 4 inches. You must notify our company within 48 hours of delivery. The delivery and return charges applicable to your area will apply. A $50 restocking fee will also apply if boxspring/foundation has been taken out of the original manufacturer’s packaging.
BOXSPRING/FOUNDATION CONCERN: In some instances a regular one-piece boxspring/foundation may not fit in your home. This may require a split (2-piece) boxspring/foundation order. This will increase the cost of your purchase up to an additional $100.00 depending on your mattress purchase. If you need a split boxspring/foundation, please call the store you purchased the mattress set from to make arrangements for re-delivery and payment.
FACTORY DIRECT/SPECIAL ORDERS: All special orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit. All special orders must be paid in full before delivery. Any special order that is cancelled after 72 hours of ordering will result in the loss of deposit. There is no comfort guarantee on special orders. Exchanges based upon a warranty claim for a special order will be made only for product that is deemed defective. Factory direct orders are considered special orders.
